I've been wanting to use this spot for pictures for a while. It looks like it used to be an old gas station but all that's left is the light post and concrete slab where the building and pumps were. Problem is a truck driver(s) seem to use it to drop off trailers for X amount of time. So I rarely see it unoccupied. But I was passing by the other evening and decided to get in there since I had the chance. It was just starting to rain and only had my cell phone for pics though, but there's a few cool shots none the less.
Plus she looks a little better wet, it hides the clear coat that is bubbling up and peeling off on all the metal surfaces now...
Though the water doesn't bead up very well, she hasn't had a decent detail since just before last winter. I'm almost afraid to even wash it sometimes let alone taking a buffer to the paint because of how easy the clear is coming up now. Hell, some of you saw at the Michigan meet what blue painters tape did...
I love the 1st, 5th and 7th shots, Booze. Shes a real stunner especially with those rims. Shame that you're having issues with your clear coat though :/

Looking good!! Man, I still love those wheels with that drop. Also, like I told Ryan once, you're combing two of my favorite hobbies - cars and abandoned locations! Makes me really want to find some old, creepy locations to use as backdrops.
And, Booze, if it makes you feel better, my paint is starting to develop all those little goosebumps - mostly on the passenger fender and hood. Mine are there all the time, rain or shine. Well, when that clear/paint goes, that'll just be more of an incentive for me to get that Black Panther Metallic paint.

Actually that sounds like an interesting idea. But if I'm going that far down I'd probably want to lay the clear back on. And furthermore having got down that far I may as well do a repaint. I'd love to do the White Gold Tri-coat.
Alternatively, plastidip has crossed my mind. I would say oh I could just peel it off, but in this case would pull up lots more clear with it. I played with some dip on a spare hood for the '93. If the paint surface is cracked, chipped or flaked the dip will peel it up too. But plastidip could be a temporary thing until I could have the car repainted. That, or I could have a go at painting it myself with a bright white or something. I'd probably screw up pearl.
