help on fwi install

Post by fromtheashes »

I just received my jmb 2 piece fwi intake and I didn't get instructions. I requested another copy. But can anyone on here maybe guide me without the instructions. Would greatly appreciate the help.

I'm putting it in my 01 ssei. And the big thing holding me back from not doing it right away is the IAT sensor. So by the end of the week I'll do it regardless of having the instructions

The first link gives reasonably good directions and photos of installing the IAT, at least for me, I think, as I am a bit dense at times. There are members that can attest to my being a bit "dense" at times. - BC

I'm just worried above pulling the sensor out of the stock intake. Don't want to break it and have to buy a new one.

IIRC, it's just a quarter turn and pull it out. I replaced mine probably 8 or 9 years ago. Come to find out, that wasn't the problem. - BC

It just takes a bit of wiggling and the sensor pops out.

Can't wait to hear how the install went and to see pics. I'm considering the JMB intake for my SE, and I would definitely like to hear what you think of it.
