Does it even exist?
My friend is trying to tell me that he met a guy at a car show whose son supposedly has a 2003 SSEi that has a 2.4" pulley and runs low 12's. I think that if something like this is around, it would be some kind of record and that it would be well known. I don't believe it.What do you guys think?

Re: Does it even exist?
It certainly is possible, but I think we would know. I have seen a few modded Bonnevilles for sale on craigslist though that I have never known of before. I know of a guy in Grand Rapids that had a dark bronzemist 2002ish SSEi with a bunch of ZZP work done, I think he was around 12s but never had any part of any forums, he sold the car last year.

Not sure on the 2.4 pulley part but I'm sure there's still a couple guys out there still doing stuff to these rides.

I don't see where it would be that hard to believe, follow mattstrikes build s/c and a turbo and I could see it pulling 12's all depends on just how much he's put into it my L67 I'm working on now is pushing 3,300 dollars and I'm not done yet

I know that it's possible to run 12's. Pat's car and I think a couple others run 12's but the things they were telling me didn't add up about this particular car.

Ask him to see a time slip if it actually runs 12's then proving it shouldn't be a problem for him either that or make it a 100 dollar wager and tell him you want to be there in person

Didn't SLP or ZZP build a high 11 or 12 second Pontiac. I don't remember if it was a GP or a Bonneville. - BC

Re: Does it even exist?
There are MANY MANY L67 bpowered cars in and under the 12s. Bonnevilles are obviously a bit more rare, but badssei was in the 10s. Pats runs mid 12s, theres a few in the 11s with turbos. Certainly no shortage of high 11 second grand prix on the various forums.

Re: Does it even exist?
Tmk the smallest pulley that was mass produced was a 2.55, I have a 2.50 in my possession. I don't think a 2.4 would fit with the ZZP snout turn down tool that I have.
