Granted there is nothing wrong with the stock one, but on my 2004 GMC 2500HD with the 6.0 LQ4 I want a little more growl. I do not want something you have to yell over while in the cab. I just want something with a little more note at idle and lets you know when getting on it.
Just looking at a cat back type or even just replacing the muffler.
On my 95 Suburban with the 5.7, I had a Magnaflow put on and it sounded nice and the way I wanted it.
Anyone here have suggestions or personally heard some good exhaust on the 6.0? I know there are a lot out there.

Re: Exhaust recommendations
A friend of mine has a magnaflow on his 4.8L 1500, IMO it is not loud enough, it has a little grumble to it but barely any louder than stock

Re: Exhaust recommendations
Magnaflow is too much. I love them as I think I singlehandedly keep them in business. But interior resonance and drone will defintely be present.
I would look at a DynoMax SuperTurbo setup. It's still a two chamber muffler, gives a little more note, but without the obnoxious drone/resonance. Granted it's no where near as loud as Magnaflow at WOT either. But yes, MF tends to be equally as quiet at idle. It's WOT where it makes it's presence known.
