got the darned thing washed. last week it kept raining, raining, raining. i live in a campground (full-time travel trailer life) that has nothing but half mile of dirt road, and when i drive through it when it rains, my entire car turns into a mud bog truck. it's very messy and takes two hours to clean up. i had been putting cleaning it up until the weather improved and i just wanted it ready for the weekend.

i can try going less than 10mph in the mud but eventually the ground effects/cladding gets covered no matter what.

Installed the new AC sensor which did not eliminate the P1639 code and slapped in my new rear shocks. Took it for its first real drive today and noticed after getting some heat soaked into it that I was seeing as much as 9* KR going uphill to maintain 80 MPH with apx 6 psi of boost.

Guess time to swap that pulley or get an intercooler. LOL

That's a lot of knock. Either run it beltless or get a stocker on there ASAP.

No. May order a larger pulley, may order an intercooler since it needs a rear head gasket anyway, may sell it. Who knows. I have car ADD. They tick me off enough and I just move on and this car has been one hell of a headache. Its almost done though so I am leaning towards seeing it through to the end.

The car only sees 1-2* KR max at WOT but at partial throttle when its loaded for 10+ seconds around 6-7psi is when it will hit 9* for a split second and then back down to 4-5*.

At any rate I still think the pulley is way too small for Texas summers and even with an intercooler and headers I wouldn't want to run it any smaller than a 3.4.
Since I have to send the ECU back to Intense for a reflash with more current coding and also to eliminate the rear O2 sensor I will just order a 3.5 or 3.6 from them at the same time.

The front is solid but the rear is hollow. I was surprised about the rear.

I put my new relay harness on as soon as the mailman dropped it off. Guess what? No more buzzing and both lights actually turn on now!

Yesterday I put on my gxp spoiler. Day before Iput the freshly repainted bumper cover and retinted tails back on. Looks a lot better now that the tails don't look painted black.

No pics because I'm not using photobucket anymore.

Still confused why I have the 1639. Put the tank Pressure Sensor in and the AC sensor, both get voltage but still that P1639 code persists. Time for a Bonnefire.

Did the front bar today. Did NOT have to drop the subframe, but did drop the downpipe though (TOG headers, flex connector was all that was removed). I would suggest to have someone under the car while someone else was at the right wheel helping guide it.

If you have the FSM........ don't use it for this procedure. The only thing they got right was to remove the right wheel.

It was a little bit of a pain to get it to come out. We had to disconnect the right tie rod end and the bracket on the right strut holding the brake line. While pulling the right strut to the left as far as possible, the bar slid between the strut and brake line with several rotations to match the curves in the bar.

While holding old bar, grab the new one the same way and insert it. Do not get out from underneath to have a beer until the new bar is inserted. This will make it a lot easier since you just saw how the old one came out.

The bushings and brackets were re-used and fit fine.

Overall, there was about 1 hour on the rear bar and 2 hours on the front.

There was a definite improvement on the handling. The curves are much flatter and faster now on the Silver Bullet.

I messed around with the HIDs AGAIN, but I think I may have it working now without ditching the relay harness.

Replacing a harness unnecessarily isn't worth the risk imo. Then again everything might work better if you did. :bwoohoo:

LOL. It does not look any different in pictures than it did when I made my picture thread. Was a bunch of scratches you could see in person but my phone did not pick up. Also the paint felt like sandpaper before and now it feels like butter. But here is one, ignore my work truck. LOLZ

I recharged the A/C today. I went to go to the car wash, and after confirming that it was 94* on my phone, I made a stop at Autozone hahaha. All is well now, until it all leaks out this winter. :banghead:
