STEERING/SUSPENSION ISSUE.....ADVICE NEEDED 99" SE

Post by bigmandev92 »

Within the last month my steering feels super loose when hitting bumps, its as if the wheels do what they want. I have replaced tie rod ends, ball joints, rotors, calipers, brake pads, tires high speed balanced. Car still shakes at 65mph-70mph. I've been told it could be rack and pinion or a hub bearing or struts or alignment. I'm just tired of dumping money into car with no progress! Help please

Did you replace the inner tie rod ends? They require a special tool to remove them from the rack. Or it could be the rack. I had the rack replaced in mine as I approached 200,000 miles. Took care of both the rack which had some leakage, and the inner rod ends, one of which was badly worn.
