97 ssei problems and parts list

I had the same problem with another 3800 car I had with the repetitive misfires always reappearing and it turned out that it was the lower intake manifold gaskets leaking. Once you get that done I'll bet you'll be fine.

That's next on the list when I get a minute. At least I only have 3 classes worth of finals this semester. Course now I've found another car that I simply must have. Another 3800. Bank probably won't go for it.

Missed the other car, but I got mine all torn down and put back together today. If you ever wondered what the egr is doing to your engine, it's doing this.

I got the new intake manifold gaskets in along with a new coupler, fresh oil and several new vacuum lines. It runs smooth now but it's only pushing 5psi of boost. So great, new problem.
