Hello all from NY

Post by 02nyssei »

Just wanted to say hi. A few weeks ago I got a 02 bonneville ssei. It has all the options but the 12 disk CD changer. It is silver and only had 36,700 miles on it. I just replaced the OE tires and with help from all you guys I already fixed the heated seat. The only thing left to do is fix the steering clunk. I will post pictures when I get them, it's been so cold it's hard to keep it clean. I will tell you, it's almost mint. I have done lots of reading here and have learned a lot about this car. Thanks!!!

As for me, I am a car guy. I had a 2000 ws6 trans am but sold it a few years ago. Now with a wife and two kids the ssei will fit perfect. I also have a 69 camaro that I have owned for 21 years now. I just built a nice 350 for it last year and this year it will get a new transmission and rear end. It has not been on the road in almost 15 years. I can't wait.

Thanks.

Welcome to the site, one of the best support sites for the 3800. Sounds like you have a mint car, only 36k miles!? Where in the world did you find something like that? It sounds like a great find no matter what.

What cold weather? Were getting a heat wave here in upstate, lol. Yea its been downright freezing out there.

I saw the car about 5 months ago but they wanted to much. Once it started to snow and they had plow around it I was able to get a good deal. The longer it sits the cheaper it gets!!! Thanks for the welcome.

Welcome! My wife and I make a few trips out to the Buffalo area every year to visit her family, NY is a beautiful state... your crawling slow speed limits are awful though

Youre in perth? Youre just over the hill from where I am. I actually take frequent trips up there to get some tim hortons since its the only place. Being from Buffalo originally, I have a preference for them over DD.

As for the pictures...
