Tire Pressure
Tire Pressure
I can't find the required tire pressure for my 2002 SE. My driver side door was replaced with no sticker and the manual doesn't say.

Re: Tire Pressure
Try looking at the walls of your tires. It should say something about it there, but if not, look up your tire's pressure online.

Re: Tire Pressure
The tire wall will indicate maximum pressure at a certain load, not necessarily the recommended pressure. Fill them between 32 and 35 psi and you'll be fine.

Re: Tire Pressure
One of the daughter-in-laws has the '05 Bonneville, but IIRC its 28 PSI. I try to always run mine 32 - 35 PSI. - BC

Re: Tire Pressure
when i have my 18" summer tires on, I run 50 psi (tires say max 55 psi), huge difference in ride then running at factory 35 psi. But stock tires usually run 30 psi to 32 psi.

Re: Tire Pressure
Running more tire pressure to a certain extent will mean better fuel economy.

Re: Tire Pressure
Factory max psi is 35. But never fill to 35 since heat from friction will expand the air up to that extra 5 psi. But always read your sidewall of your tires if you are running non factory spec tires.

Re: Tire Pressure
The DIC TPS is spot on with the wife's CTS. Can't say about the '05 Bonneville as it only reports when the TP falls to below? - I'll guess 27PSI. - BCspoiledred94 wrote:right my GoodYear Assurances run at 40 -44 as per sidewall, cold, BTW who here has any belief in the DIC tire pressure indicator?

Re: Tire Pressure
I'm 01. I expect it to be the same though. CTS is a Cadillac? There was a Caddy at the track a few years ago that was really fast. He barked the tires through four gears. Its supposed to have 550+ HP

My SE doesn't show pressure so can't say about that. The wheel speed sensor went off with a 1-2 pound difference on one wheel. If they all go down the same nada. It's all I need.
Re: Tire Pressure
35 PSI is where mine are set. no problems, not TPMS light and wear evenly. more then that you will wear the center out faster and ride is much harsher.

Re: Tire Pressure
My DIC works perfectly, too. I think it just lets you know when your tire pressure gets too low, however.
