Pretty cool and interesting, can display any app on your phone,... lets hope they reach their goal for production. Most likely some other established company will swoop in and put out a similar product in 5...4...3...2...

I mean you have to use common sense when driving, the idea is more geared to navigation maps etc then say reading an e-book. Most newer cars have built in LCD screens that can display the same info/apps even surf the web play movies etc anyway. I would like to hook it up to a night vision camera mounted in the front to aid in night driving like the newer Audis and Benz have.... wouldn't be that hard as they already sell the kits for the car cameras, basically just plug and play. The possibilities with this device are pretty limitless...

"Common sense while driving" ......yeah that died off long ago. Until a law makes this illegal people will just watch movies while they drive to work or some *shoot*.

Slightly less distracted is still distracted. The driver is still not giving his attention to what's going on. The time to see the text or even listening to it is only a small part of the problem. Thinking about the text and not driving is the real problem. Hopefully the Insurance companies will 86 this. Sorry but I can't understand how anyone cannot see how dangerous this is. People are literally dying. For what?

Ehhh its a useful too when used properly, but at in the same token the distraction could be caused by your dash mount gps. Heck even the newer cars from Buick to Benz have a huge built in LCD screens that you can do everything from apps to stream youtube.
