hi everyone. i have an 02 sle, just yesterday i noticed when i start the car, the heater isnt blowing. I turned the fans all the way up and nothing. Then a few minutes after driving, it comes on! Good news, but i know something isnt right if its doing that. Anyone ever heard of this, or have any ideas? If this means what i think it means, i have a big repair ahead of me
Thanks Adam.

Re: heating question
Try tapping your toe on the bottom of the blower--it's on the right side of the hump where the passenger's left toe could reach. With the key ON and blower set, that may cause the brushes to make contact with the commutator again. Or you could open the air filter for the cabin air, and reach in to tape the squirrel cage carefully so you don't get your fingers shortened.chelbanger wrote:hi everyone. i have an 02 sle, just yesterday i noticed when i start the car, the heater isnt blowing. If that works, you might take it apart and replace the brushes if you can find replacements. But easier to just replace the blower motor.

Re: heating question
Ok thanks for your help, it worked today, just kind of weird that it randomly doesn't work.

LMAO! Yes it's the blower motor. I'm sure, if it doesn't come on, kick under glove compartment. If works then, its definitely the motor.imidazol97 wrote:Try tapping your toe on the bottom of the blower--it's on the right side of the hump where the passenger's left toe could reach.
