New to Board.....
Came over from 3800pro.com
I have a 1994 Bonne. SSEi....tranny decided to kill its input shaft last week,
so I'm curious if any of you guys might need some parts off a clean SSEi.
All of the electrical works and is in good shape. Motor was strong, new rebuilt supercharger, etc.
Just a crappy tranny, and I can't afford to stick $1500 in a tranny into it since I have about 4 other projects right now.
Thanks for your advise and help. I was a former Grand National owner, and it's crazy these *dang* 3800's last longer than the whole friggin' car!

Welcome...
why not swap in a used trans for under $300 instead of parting the car?

Re: New to Board.....
Sorry will update my sig.
I'm from Denver,CO...will have pics up shortly.
I'd swap it but it needs other stuff (shocks, etc), and with a motor rebuild going on with my DSM
I simply do not have the time (or garage space) to swap it.
Also, the car is probably only worth $1500, so if I paid someone to do it i don't feel a tremendous value in it.

Re: New to Board.....
First welcome to the club... I do Miss Colorado some days.... Lived in Colorado Springs for a long time..
At current I am ripping a couple of 4T60-E Transmissions apart... One will get a good freshen up... With the 4th Input Shaft, Output Shaft, Hardened Reverse Reaction, A rebuild kit with all of the gaskets, bands, seals, Steels, Friction Plates....... Filter kit and all... I think I spent $400 for the rebuild... But I'm doing the rebuild... I actually found some damage to the Output shaft, so I had to order that as well..
But I do understand what you are saying.... Sometimes enough is enough

Welcome to Pontiac Bonneville Club,
What type of shape are the headlights, and all the tail lights, and the trunk liner in?
I really need to stop charging my work for just sitting here looking at Pontiac Bonneville Club....
When i'm supposed to be doing work.

Re: New to Board.....
Thanks a ton guys.
Pics will be up here in a second.
While I'd love to build it up to a nice 13sec sleeper.....I simply don't have the time/garage space to do such.
Colorado is always hard to leave too:)
Any members in the denver area?

13 second sleeper would cost you plenty in a 94.
Go ahead and post what you have in the FOR SALE OR TRADE section. That's the proper location, and will give you more visibility.
