Feels like I'm loosing power when I punch the gas...

I have noticed recently that when I punch the gas to pass someone or get onto the highway in my 2002 ssei, there is a loss of power for a half a second or so when my boost is at 5-6. I do need to change the spark plugs and wires, and I just replaced the cat and took out the resonator. All advice is much appreciated!

Go slow, I'd do plugs and wires first. Maybe it's a plugged cat as well.

I would test fuel pressure.. my car did this and then it would jump up and car would take off.. bad pump.. replaced it and all is well. bad cat would make it slower the more RPMs you gave it so i would think its not the cat.

I'm hopefully going to be able to change out all the spark plugs and wires by next weekend, so I'm hoping that will help things, I know they are due to be changed. I just replaced the cat so I would hope there is nothing wrong with it! I had the fuel pumped changed about 7k miles ago. Thanks for all of the advice guys! I've got 105,000 miles on her now so I'm hoping this isn't the beginning of a bunch of troubles .

Hey guys just wanted to do an update. Changed the spark plug wire set and all the plugs, went with the autolight 103 copper. The loss of power is gone now, getting 6-7lbs of boost and its feeling strong! Thanks for the help.
