New Headlights

Post by Dark_Knight »

Has anyone used these bulbs before? I really like the IDEA of these but dont want to burn this much for something that is just as bright as some silverstars...

Those will not produce any appreciable light in your housings. They are not made to work with the Bonneville lights. Stick to some normal untinted 9006/5 bulbs.

Thanks Carl. I think I have found a creative solution which will definitely make my bonneville stand out even more..might be on the expensive side to do but this would look awesome if I can make my idea come to fruition! Mounting these lights inside the existing housing. (Will probably go ahead and hunt down some spare lamps to modify) http://www.rigidindustries.com/D2-LED-L ... /d2-dr.htm

You might want to check out some truck forums for a group buy on the lighting product to bring down the cost.

EDIT: Im an idiot. Doesnt look like the Euro Osram Silverstars are available in 9006/9005. Lookis like Phillips is the next best bet.
