The Pypes are awesome, except when I hit DoD, the it sounds like I have a massive sub hitting. That's the main reason I want to disable DoD, that and around here it doesn't kick in enough. It's flat, but rolling and always slightly increasing in elevation...

Only reason I would ever want AFM is the potential mileage gains with a good tune. Jerry said 30+. But that being said I'm glad mine's an LS3.

When my friends GP GXP still had DOD we put headers on and ran open till he took it to the exhaust shop. It's fun cruising in 4 cly mode then opening it up to scare the crap out of people.

Any way get a tune as soon as you do DOD delete, if not you will seize the engine, which sucks a lot.

I'm not sure what my favorite color is on these now, i used to like the blue best, but your black one looks sweet also. Good luck with it.

I have yet to ever have our LS4 go into AFM mode when I drive it.
