Bonneville/Lesabre compatability

Hey there fellas. I have an issue with my driverside door panel. It is missing the top seal which sits up against the interior window..I cannot seem to find any sort of universal ones..any ideas for a replacement? Also, are the door panels from the Lesabres of the parallel years pretty similar?? Thanks!

As far as I know and have seen, most of the interior pieces in our cars are very different. It might bolt up to the door if the actual door itself is the same from car to car, but it definitely won't match the interior in your bonneville. You might be able to rob the seal of the LeSabre door panel and put that on your car, but I know the panel most likely won't match. I can take a picture of my door panels if you'd like to see what they look like if you haven't already looked at one in a junkyard.

Yes sir a picture would definitely come in handy..I havent been able to find a door panel seal replacement ANYWHERE.. :( another thing..I cannot find a new front license plate mount and i really do not want to have to bend my plate since my bumper has a point in the middle any frame/mounts you suggest? thanks

Here's a picture of my passenger door panel. The driver's is the same, with the exception of it having more switches for the windows and power seats/mirrors



I'm not too sure on the front plate, I don't have to have a front plate in GA, so I've never put any consideration or thought into it. Someone from up north where they have two plates may be able to help a little more on that subject.

Have you looked into possibly getting just some generic rubber weather stripping and making your own seal? Again, I know the physical door panels are different, but I'm sure the windows and seals are all the same throughout the H-body's for these years.

Thanks for that picture.. I will try this week to go to the junkyard and see if I can find any matching panels.. I have seen some different license plate holder designs online but nothing that looks like it will fit my bumper correctly so I might just keep my plate off even though I've been pulled over a few times already for not havin it lol..
