axcess steering wheel control issues

Post by excessive81 »

Got my awsc-1 this week and had chance to try and get it I to the car. I have gmos09 and kenwood ddx418.From my research I am using the pink wire from the awsc connecting it to the pink wires in the a1 and a2 locatiin on the dock and lock harness. I connected the 2 pink wires from the dnl to the pink wire from the gmos09 and the awsc1 pink wire. It goes thru the auto detect mode and turns green but it is not working. I just wanted to double check the wiring but could not find any info. Anyone done this

I found it was detecting my kenwood as a jvc as mentioned. I tried to reprogram but still not working

Ok called the tech support they wanted me to move the swc pink wire the the two purple wires On the factory side of the doc n lock. When pulled clip apart the purple wires turn into the pink wires on the gmos09 which are soldered together already so that is same way I have it wired beside the wiring is done on the removable harness.

Found it it was an issue with a remote setting on the headunit. Thanks sheldon from their tech support for figuring that out. I assumed that was for ir remote but was the issue.
