HELP - Headers that will fit my 1970 Bonneville 455

Need info on headers that will fit my 1970 Bonneville 455 cid. Will Grand Prix or Firebird headers fit?

An amigo of mine suggests running the Ram Air manifolds for your 455. I have no reason to doubt his advice as he's done quite a bit of research on these things.

He has also advised that if you really want headers, that GP headers *should* work, but they won't be a perfect fit. Additionally, they were using heads in the early 70's that may or may not interfere with your header installation, as it was intended to discourage people from messing with the cats. Most likely the heads won't be an issue, but it's still possible.

An additional option is what he called the "factory long branch". He said you would need an oil filter adapter to make those work, however.

Make certain that whatever you purchase, it is compatible with the round port or D port heads you have. They will not fit the same.

He also added that A-body headers for 69-72 will fit, but will require hammering and grinding on the frame.
I have a Bonneville, it's white and N/A! :twisted:
