LED Hookup Question

Post by BonnyKid51 »

How should I hook up my interior LED lights so that they only come on when one of the doors are open? I have a 01 Bonneville SSEI. Thank You!

Did you check all the fuses for something that might be your solution? Idk how much different the fuses for the SE and ssei are.. But idk if that's even possible.. And if it was it might only be possible to hook it up to one door, like strictly the drivers side.. Etc.. I could be wrong but idk

Are you wiring new L.E.D's if so then just tap into the light underneath the steering column and run the wires off of that

What I would do, or tap into the footwell lights.

On my LeSabre, I added door lights and rear floor lights (all LED), and just tapped into the footwell lights. Worked perfectly.
