2001 Bonnie

Post by Bonnie01 »

Today feels like a summer day compared to what we have had, so I decided to clean the Bonnie up and give her a shine.

Yes there is a tow hitch on the back. I pull my boat with Bonnie. I get a lot of looks but I get better gas milage than pulling with my truck.

I have never seen that anyone do the taillights in white like that. I am not a fan, but it is interesting.

How much does the boat/trailer weigh?

Tail lights are very interesting but looks like a clean car overall. You might want to get a transmission cooler if you do a lot of towing.

taillights are definitely different, and I kinda like it. did you just mask off around the black lines and spray them white on the lense?

I used used pin stripping tape to cover the black lines in the tail lights. A simple change, havent seen another one like it. I think it makes the rear look smaller.

The boat and trailer weight about 1000lbs. not much weight. Havent had any trouble with overheating, or any complications on a steep boat dock.

The longer I look at it, I begin to like it more. But I think you should do the rest of lights. Like around the turn signal and reverse light.

even though that boat may be small and light i would still recommend a trans cooler and an aeroforce guage (trans temp) just so you can keep your trans healthy while doing mild towing :poke:
