Cast Aluminum Trans Pan?
Anyone ever use one of these? Im thinking about replacing mine with this when I do the trans service this week.

i wouldnt bother. no benifit to doing so other then having a drain plug for the next fluid change. i would just make sure you have or get a good new gasket. Felpro makes a OE style Metal/Rubber reusable one cheap if yours is bad

like any aluminum finned pan it would disapate some heat but the fins are not too deep/long. Looks cool though

I got one cheap, and i am using it with my build. However I dont have the "normal" 4T65

I am still the guy who likes his trans coolers.. It is florida tho so hot happens...lol
If I stumbled across one of those finned aluminum pans cheap I would jump on it tho...

I would love it for the use of the drain bolt, but it's too expensive for that purpose.

I have a Built trans in the car that has every possible upgrade including a GM Racing 1" Chain, GM Racing Torsen Diff and thats just the start of the parts list
