Working on my car, and we have upwards of 30 mph wind gusts in the area, and my hood keeps blowing shut...a few times, closing on top of me...lol
Car will not start at all, so moving it to a less windy area out of the gusts is not an option.
Any suggestions on better securing the hood open?
(I'm so wrapped up in technical and electrical stuff with the car, I cannot think in simple basic terms to find a possible solution)
Really dumb question, but looking for suggestions

OMG thank you! See? I knew there was a very simple solution that my overworked mind was overlooking...I'd been using my locking pliers on other things, and I think that's why I couldn't see the bigger picture!

i would also put a rag on there to prevent scraping the strut rod.
