I repainted mouldings this weekend. Take your time and they come out quite nice. I used Rustoleum Trim and Bumper paint. I removed them to paint. Will do fronts in the spring

Looks great. How hard was it to remove the moldings?

You need to be careful not to scratch the paint, but they come fairly easy. The rears need to be pried up on. I put a strip of masking tape under moulding and used a flat blade scraper to initially loosen it. After having it come up a bit, I used a screwdriver on the end edge. Once it comes off and you see how the clips are situated, the next one is a piece of cake. Mine were pitted slightly, so I used 60 grit paper to start, then went to 330 then 660. Finished with 1500 all dry. I did mask off all the rubber on the moulding. Because of cold weather here, I painted in basement. Did three coats each. Total time on both pieces was about 1 hour. I know with the fronts the mirror has to come off. I'll wait until the spring and do a write up if everyone wants.
