Need some torque specs

Post by andrewisme88 »

Hello all, so I dropped the cylinder heads off and their getting new valve stem seals and also getting resurfaced at the machine shop.

I need to know the torque specs on the rocker bolts? and wondering if i should put some kind of LOC-TITE on them before i torque them down? and do they have a torque sequence?

Next I need the Head bolts torque specs and the torquing sequence.

lower, upper intake manifold bolts torque specs?

ANy info on this will greatly help I need to get the GF's car back together so she will STOP burning the clutch on my SHO :-#

Rockers: 11 lb ft + 90 degrees, i wouldn't loctite...

Image

Cylinder head bolts:
• Tighten the bolts in sequence to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
• Rotate each bolt 120 degrees in sequence. Use the J 36660-A .

It looks like 11 ft lb for the lower intake bolts, make sure you tighten in sequence.

Upper intake bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
