Boss Ass Bonnie!

Chat about all things Bonneville (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the lounge, and all mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

Both of those cars need a fuel leak, and an "accidental fire"...

a coworker of mine drives one of those "donk" as he calls them, but what ever..
but the funniest part is he is always complaining that he is always getting pulled over by the police...
most the time its just for the stupidest reasons..
but hey, he says he like the attention that car brings...
should have thought about the attention it brings from the local police dept....
2 wheels and 2 pedals... much cheaper that way...

Technically, it's profiling, lol. When your car looks like that, and the local drug dealers' cars look like that, yeah, you'll get that kind of attention...

Back in 2000, not long after I got my Buick, someone suggested I replace all my chrome/stainless trim with gold colored trim, and put massive rims on it. When I asked why, the response I got back was "because it's a Buick, and it'd be cool." At that time there were several PA's running around town like that, and they were the local drug dealers.

Like Ed said, that's not attention I would have wanted. Besides, I didn't want people thinking I had some kind of mental condition by driving around in a car like that.

(All of those are also reasons why I went for a more aggressive look with the car, to try and put me on the other end of the spectrum from cars like those represented in this thread.)
