Aftermarket radio not working

I only get music thru my speakers when my door chimes are chiming, as soon as they stop, my music stops. can anyone help me

I'm not familiar with 00+ electronics where the chime comes through the speakers. But I can bump this for you.

Sounds like a wiring issue. Did you use the PAC module? Is this a fresh install or has it been in the car for awhile and just started this?

it is a fresh install and i used the Gmos 09 wiring harness for 159.99 I was told that would be the only one to work in my car since it is pre amplified

I would start by checking the wiring. Our stereos are turned on by a signal on the serial bus. When the chimes are triggered, the harness you purchased is supposed to energize the radio and sound the chimes. When the ignition is turned on, the radio should be energized and able to be operated.

It sounds like the chime signal is connected, but the radio on is not.
