I sent an email on Monday and never heard back, yet the ad is still posted. Hmmm.

How did you end up making out Tripscarcare?

Pretty much made a trade for another smaller toy, and some tinting done around the house.

Figure about 1700 for the car

Its gone now, but crazy how crappy the market is for a seller, buyers market for sure

There is a 40th edition down this way, search out kijii. It was a descent looking car

Hope all is well

I believe you're in the Windsor area, correct? I checked your area and didn't find it.

I noticed that one Jerry, mileage seems low but I think it's rust just waiting to happen. I hope someone picks it up and takes care of her.

I also noticed a 05 White GXP that dropped the price from $6995. to $5995. and it's a dealer.

The 208,000km is probably scaring people off.

I'm almost there but thankfully have a fresh motor to sweeten the deal when it comes time to sell (read: now).

I agree but you have to admit $6000. asking price for a 05 GXP isn't bad considering the 90 SSE had almost 500k klm when I gave it away and I wouldn't have a problem driving it to Florida and back.

I'm now starting to look on Kijiji/Autotrader for 09 G8 but I may stick with the V6 version. There are other cars in our household that can fill our need for hp!

I never got a reply to my second email so it' looks like this deal is dead on the 97 Ei, but it gives me the info I need should another one come up.

G8 3.6 V6 fuel mileage isn't that much better Frank. 2mpg city, 1mpg highway as per the official ratings. With the correct use of the right foot it boils down to the driver and their habits more. Also not quite as reliable or durable in terms of powertrain.

You mean the 8? The reliability/durability comment was directed toward the V6.

Yes I was and rereading your post I didn't see the V6......my bad. Now that really sucks if that mileage was based on the G8 V6, what gives? My dream is slowly diminishing.............JERRY!.

Tell ya what, when you're ready to get yours then well talk, keep in mind I don't need a lot of hp since I've got that covered, I'm more interested in fuel economy, but if you get one maybe we can get a package deal......
