My crusie control stopped working yesterday. I checked vacuum hose and power to unit - no issues found - anything else I can check or test?
Thanks.....Milty

Re: Crusie control not working
The brake position sensor on the brake pedal shaft. There's two. A few years back, mine had worn beyond its adjustment capability, so I added a bit of something, can't remember, in there to keep the shaft from sitting on the sensor which had been fooling the cruise into thinking I was pushing on the brake and it wouldn't set. Try pulling the brake towards you with your foot and engaging the cruise. If it works again at that point, you know your sensor needs adjustment.

Re: Crusie control not working
Before you get all crazy checking the electronics, inspect to ensure that the cable hasn't snapped or worn through at the throttle body.
Ask me how I know.

Re: Crusie control not working
Cable is good - haven't had the chance to get under the dash to check the brake sensor yet. I'll report back when done.
