My old Bonneville.
I'm not sure what was wrong with this one, but since I use(d) both cars for work (A Rural Post Office route) I couldn't have any slight problems. This one had over 160,000 well-earned miles: the engine was still like nails. But sometimes, when you turned the key, nothing (no sound) would happen. After I would turn the key 10-20 times one after another it would start right up. It would usually do this once or twice a week, sometimes first thing in the morning, or sometimes, half way through the work day. But it would only do it once a day. It had a problem with the built in security, and after that it started to be buggy. Maybe it was a faulty repair.
I know it is really hard on any car to drive it so slow all the time, on the side of the road, and turn it on and off every time you need to get out. The key was tunred on and off much more than it would get from being a regular daily driver.
I think the silver one earned its retirement, and it was a great car. Otherwise I wouldn't have bought another one.
Both cars were a '99 Bonneville, and I like driving both of them for work and my personal car.
