ELC question...
I have read most of the comments on here about the elc... heres my problem... I just got a 2001 SLE about 2 weeks ago and i havent heard the pump run at all until last week it ran like it should for 5 seconds then shut off when i turned the key on (after about 15 seconds) it only did this for 1 day. now it dont run at all again... i put a snap on scanner on it and got code C0625 fault in the leveling sensor. my question is will the leveling sensor cause the pump not to run when u turn the key on? i have jumped the pump wire with 12v and the pump runs fine, actually pumped the shocks up to a nice level while i did this. any ideas?

Re: ELC question...
The pump should still do it's self-test when you start the car. Sounds like maybe your Rear Integration Module has an issue. harofreak00 should have one.

Re: ELC question...
I doubt it is the RIM and here's why. I replaced my RIM 3 months ago because my moon roof, power locks, reverse lights, auxiliary ports, all interior lights, key-less entry, rear window defogger....etc all quit working. My RIM was toast and the pump still worked.
Could it just be a bad pump? Just my thoughts.....
And thumbs-up for Harofreak00! The RIM I bought from him worked great and I got in like 2 days. Plus, his price was 50% cheaper than other sellers.

Re: ELC question...
Another member just had the opposite problem, so I'm standing by my recommendation.
Have you checked the fuses?

Re: ELC question...
The pump is a "dumb" unit, it only turns on and off when told. The rim does that job.

Re: ELC question...
yes checked the fuses and swapped the relay with another... like i was saying pump runs fine when i put 12 volts to it... I was also thinking the pump should self test also even if i got the C0625 lever sensor code.
