2001 ssei blowing hot air when ac is on

hey club members im having a problem with my ac its not blowing cold in the cabin the freon line going to the firewall is ice cold and the compressor is running fine and i recharged it last week im wanting to know if anyone has had this issue and if so what was it any helpful ideas or solutions would be great thanks for looking matt

Might just need to recharge it further, especially if the passenger side blows colder (or "less warm") than the driver's side. This would be the classic sign of being low on refrigerant.

Check to see if it is blowing hot on both the passenger and the driver side. If only blowing hot on one side, you may have a bad actuator.

it is blowing hot on both sides if its set at 60 its warm 90 is hot but it wont get cold it was fine till 2 days ago and when i recharged it last week it took 2 cans and it was ice cold

See that hole in the ozone right above you? Ha sounds like you have a pretty good leak to lose 2 cans within a week.

Bad actuator or huge leak one or the other. 2 cans should blow real old for sure, min had a slow leak and I would have to put a third can in it half way through summer, for 3 cans per year it wasn't worth the $1000+ they wanted to fix. I thought redtek and similar brands were ozone friendly these days?
