I need a new battery for my 01 SE and I want to know what the best battery for our car is? One with most power would be nice. Thanks guys

Ive had great luck with Interstate batteries or AC Delco ones. I just got the GXP and the battery is under the back seat. If that is the case in yours then you need a special sealed battery for it. If its under the seat DONT just install any old battery as it can vent fumes and leak inside the car.

try sonicelectronics.com they are a "car audio" site but they have mega CCA batteries and they are at reasonable prices. i think Shrukin is a very good brand.

I've generally used Remy batteries on the rare occasion that I had to get a replacements. And I get the most CCAs I can with a dual-terminal confiuration. In 25 years I think I've only had to replace 1 battery that I made the original purchase on

Re: Best battery?
Whatever you do, don't get a Duralast battery from AutoZone. They're crap. I got one for my Aurora a few years ago and it only lasted about six months. To their credit, they did replace it at no cost, but I had to go to about three AZ locations to find the right battery.
In retrospect, I should have known to expect trouble from that battery because the little green date sticker showed it was almost four years old. They actually had to charge the battery before they put it in the car. Apparently, AZ isn't very good about rotating their stock.
