Thanks for having me.

Post by Weekender »

Hi, my name is Steve

I purchased my 1999 Bonneville Se about 3 months ago.Always wanted one.
Great buy for the money.Runs good. Looks good.Sat for awhile so, changing of fluids, filters, new tires and we are good.Have had squeeking from back control arm bushing , but will replace them all soon.

Have always been a weekend car guy.I have owned some cool hot rods in my past.
1965 Mustang 289 hypo, 1969 Mustang, 1971 mach 1, 1959 Ford F100 1/2 ton,1965 dodge 440.

I currently own a 1995 Mercedes 420, 1972 Mercedes 107 convertable roadster,1999 sunfire(daughters car) and my trusty 1985 Toyota pick-up with 275,000 on it.

Still a kid at heart like to tinker in my spare time and would like to get info on improving performance and fuel mileage and making my bonne fast and sound good without empting my pocket everytime I put my foot in it....

Looking forward to interacting with all of you...

Welcome! I too, would like to see pictures of your current and past rides! I'm somewhat partial to MB's having had one myself. :btruestory:

Welcome to the forum! All the information you will ever need is within this forum! Lots of great and knowledgeable mechanics around!

Sure sounds like you have a great car there! No doubt in my mind it will surpass the Toyotas mileage with the proper maintenance. :bwoohoo: :btruestory:
