What's making rattling sound in lower right part dashboard?

When driving over rougher roads, about 3 months ago this kinda metallic rattling, or clunking sound, in the lower part of the dashboard assembly, down by the heating and cooling control panel, just off to the right of that. (I have manual hvac controls). I've climbed under the dash and I'm pretty sure it's not coming from the heating/cooling controls, because in there is mostly just wires and connectors, and everything was nice and tight. It seems like the sound is coming from just below, and left of, the glove box. Was wondering what part in there could have worked loose to rattle so much over, and before I start taking off those interior panels below the dashboard I'm wondering what I should be looking for and whether the problem can be remedied...

Only way to diagnose, really is to pull at least the hush panel in the footwell, under the dash and start lookin around, maybe pull the glovebox too, I don't recall if the 00+ glovebox is removable or not...

Not that Ive heard of, plus every car and every situation is different.
