Sunroof Drain Hose--how does it exit the rocker panel area?

Talk about the other 3800 powered GM cars, particularly for items not covered in other sections that may be unique to your year/model, and differ from a Bonneville.

Sunroof Drain Hose--how does it exit the rocker panel area?

Post by cvcar »

Have a 2004 Grand Prix with water problems on the passenger floorboard. It appears that the sunroof drain hose is causing the problem, the water from the hose does not appear to be exiting the car. Presently, I have it draining into a bottle, and the floor has been dry for a couple of weeks and the bottled fills when it rains. My question is does anyone know how it is supposed to work? When I found the hose it was sitting in a compartment filled with water under the dash on the sidewall, just next to the door jam. Maybe just above the rocker panel. The hose was sitting between two patches of foam rubber about 3 inches apart, and the space doesn't appear to have any kind of hole in it. any help would be appreciated. thank you.
