The car looks really clean! Must have been well taken care of for a 12 year old Michigan car to have no rust!

I would say the rims need to be a little bigger to fill the wheel wells a little better...

Welcome to the club as well!!

Yea, increasing the tire size would certainly fill the gap and make it look much better! For now, run the tread off those and shoot for the 200K mark!! :D

Any plans for future mods?

I have gone to complete HID kit and I really love it! Really makes the car look unique. Smoked tail lights also look good on these cars, just be sure to put clear coat when finished so they shine and don't end up dull.

I have thought about replacing my HU, but for now I'm content with the stock one. I just hooked up the AUX cable so I can now play music through my phone.

I would also suggest clearing your headlights and tail lights. Links to tech info shown below for procedures..

Nice!! I would of never guessed the rims were 20's. If you really like the paint on it, I would suggest getting some mud flaps for it. The rockers take a beating and will fade if you don't. Not sure if your wheels stick out at all, but it will help with any sand or rocks from that as well.

I agree with this as well. I have them installed on my car and they really help with gravel roads (which I drive on frequently) and winter weather here in Michigan. They don't really change the look of the car much and I feel the benefits are worth it.

Since yours may have never been removed before, it may be rusty like the one shown in the link. I would try spraying some WD-40 in there and letting that soak. Mine were tight the first time I removed them too and took a good amount of force. Just be sure to pull straight out when applying the force, this will keep from bending/breaking anything.

Once you get it out, be sure to oil/lube those ball sockets before installing again!

Just pull to get the headlights out. It can take a lot of force. Both the sockets on my headlights are broken off, and I have had no problems with them as far as alignment and positioning.

Please, do NOT put HID's in your stock housings. It's illegal, annoying, and nets you no benefit.

Digging the rims :2thumbup:
when pulling the headlight dont pull so hard that you fall backwards still holding them as the wires will still be attached :)

but ya, give them a good yank...

I'm sure there pretty well stuck from over the years. I would continue to lube with some type of rust breaker so next time you try it, hopefully they come out!

Very clean looking SE you got there. Those rims look pretty good in there. Even without the tires filling out the wheel well.
Keep trying to get the lights out. Your car would look sick with the corners clear!

I'm interested in upgrading to HID's. Can someone post a link to a good quality kit to purchase? Does this kit include aftermarket housings as mentioned in the above warning? Or what's that all about? TIA.
