Nothing engine related like I was hoping since the motor stays in, but possibly a lighter torque converter and shift kit should liven things up a bit. Lsd also comes to mind but who has the time these days? Lolol

Update:
Towed the car to my tranny shop of choice Monday with most of the parts (swaybars, bushings, rack, dipstick tube, shiftkit, etc). John at intense emailed me previously to say that they had none of the 2500rpm torque converters and that ati was going to make one and ship it to me last Thursday so id have it Monday or Tuesday this week. Turns out they didn't ship it until today. I had tried to have it shipped to the shop but it looks like it'll be arriving at my house probably Tuesday evening. So I won't be able to get it to the shop til Wednesday evening, so the car won't be done til Thursday afternoon.

In other words: I am not an ati fan right now.

I don't think Travis's trans would've worked, not without going back inside and replacing the valvebody and other stuff. Might have been cheaper, but you'd have had to have known precisely what was needed....

Just dropped off the converter and iss at the shop. Took a look at the damage. In addition to the obvious drive engage band, the second planetary drum was jacked and the clutches worn badly. With the extra stuff I had them do, its coming to about 2200. It hurts but I get an unlimited mileage 5 year warranty and I know its built well. They're making a point of building this one better than the usual.

Busted. Just like I expected. The band is rolled where it attatches to its pin and whatever and it broke at the base of the roll. Looks like fatigue.

Good news is I already had a hardened 4th clutch shaft, so that was fine and can stay.
