MN Members: Lunch Meet, Sat. Nov 19?

Post by 00Beast »

Hey guys, since we've failed to have any kind of formal meet whatsoever in MN this year, is anyone interested in meeting up and getting some lunch, BS'ing and just relaxing somewhere here in the St. Cloud area the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the 19th? Not sure where we'd go, but there are lots of places to eat, and maybe we could figure out another place to hang out (Marty's house?) if anyone wants to stay for longer than lunch. What do you think?

I'm free, probably down to meet up, I could bother my brother at SCSU or something too afterwards.

I'll be there if I feel up to it... I have a hernia surgery tomorrow morning. Not supposed to drive for 5 days, so if I come, Shannon is driving me, LOL.

I'd be up for Old Chicago, otherwise Applebee's is central. B-dubs has a small parking lot and is a PITA to get into, like everything in the STC area. That and B-dubs isn't that good, LOL. There's the All American Burger Bar here in St. Joe, not sure their hours, but I'd guess they're open for lunch on Sat.

Anyone else have any other ideas?

Sounds good!! I would suggest Grizzly's or Texas Roadhouse. I live right downtown, so I could host a little something afterwards if need be, but otherwise BS'ing sounds good.

Those two are good as well, but can be crowded at lunch, and idk if Roadhouse has much for big-group (6+?) seating? I've been there a couple times, but we always got booths in the back.

RJ's off of 94 and County Road 75 on the south side is awesome. Usually not to busy, great food and has seating for large groups. It has a decent parking lot too. It is Amber and I's favorite place to go in St Cloud.

Old Chicago closed down I believe. Last time I was by it, it looked empty and closed up from 23. Roadhouse and Grizzlys share a parking lot which makes them limited on parking. Roadhouse has mostly booths which makes it limited for large group seating. Keep in mind it is supposed to be low 30's and 90% of a wintery mix on Sat. Famous Dave's has big group seating and has a big parking lot that it shares with the mall. Just my two cents

Sweet.

Sounds like Famous Dave's is the consensus? If anyone doesn't know, it's behind Target/Crossroads Mall, literally across the parking lot. 12:30 or so?

Old Chicago was open at the end of September, i stopped there to eat with my family dropping my brother off @SCSU after Andrew got hitched up.
