He used all stock parts...just cleaned up. I don't know how i got my horsepower to be so high. I run Royal purple in this motor now...maybe that has something to do with it :dontknow:

Pretty sure you are closer to 200hp, maybe a lil higher if he did tuned the PCM.

No sheet. No P&P of the heads and intake YET (next year). Car definitely sounds meaner. It maybe has at the most 210 hp.

You forgot to add the supercharger :sadeyz: . If I were going that deep I'd definitely had done a cam or rockers at least. But you do have a nice, clean motor to work with now :beerchug:

Cam and rockers will be done next year. Cold air intake w/ heat shield as well. Also a performance chip and headers will finish it.

This is complete b.s.

No stock cam, stock rockered L36 is going to dyno more than 180 whp. And I doubt anyone would go through the trouble (without major $$ incentive) to put a normal rebuild on an engine dyno. Even if they did, the engine isn't going to magically gain 30 hp.

new motor is toast. THe odd coolant leak i had ended up being internal not external. Found milkshake at the bottom of the oil filler and cap. Mechanic said it is normal for a car to get condensation on the oil cap in cold weather. He said it was safe to drive. If it goes and locks up he rebuilds it again.

Did you use aluminum LIM gaskets, improved upper intake and use the green coolant?

He reused the Plenum from the last motor i had (DORMAN)(it was replaced 2,500 miles before the last motor locked up). He never uses dex-kill in new motors. He always uses the 50/50 green coolant. When i got the car back from the rebuild, the crank seal was leaking oil on the belt and it slipped off the pullies....here is the thread explaining
