Yea its defiantly time to change my Hub Assembly

Post by 2000GreySSEi »

Yesterday it was raining. It was rain too bad, but it was enough to slick the roads. I''ve been putting it off changing my Hub bearing because this summer because we haven't been getting alot of rain. So Because my car needs a new WSS, the ABS & Trac Control doesn't work. So I was going about 45 approach a stop light. I find out I approached one the quickest yellow-red changing light I've every seen. So I slammed on the brakes, and they completely locked up, and the car's back end swarmed out. Causing me to slide into a intersection. Luckily it was a residental intersection. So I'm defiantly getting that Hub Assembly changed ASAP.

So you slid in to the intersection sideways? Exciting! Glad nobody was around to not be amused by that. I have had many a stop where the ABS tells me "fat chance buddy!" ABS Feedback is rather brutal on earlier gen's, like mine.

He was probably to busy laughing his butt off, and glad there was nobody else was around. I know I would.

It's funny, only because nothing happened. Also remember, when it first rains, that is one of the worst times when it comes to traction, because all of the oil and dirt that are on the road, lift. Also, the age of tires plays in to it as well. If they have some years on them, it makes it that much worse.
