Re: supercharged 91 , pcm tuning list
The injectors you have look a lot like the Rochester 22 Lb injectors... The only ones i know of with the SC motors were the Bosch injectors and 29 Lb like stated..
Does the trans still have the trans tag on the rear diff end of the trans? We need to know the numbers off the tag to know exactly what you have...

Taylor, I'm not finding that fuel injector listed anywhere but on obscure RX7 pages. Look on the SIDE of where the connector goes. Each side. They don't look right to me at all.

Google a number of results that calls them GM Injectors, and some including brands including Pontiac, but nothing says year or rating that I found. Perhaps a PM to the FIE guy can help.

There was no tag wired to it? Near the gear selector lever? It may be wired or riveted.

I don't see a tag, just the stamped nubers I reported....am I looking in the wrong place? Where in relative to the car should it be IE: rear driverside top. Etc?

Re: supercharged 91 , pcm tuning list
I went back out and looked everywhere its supposed to be and anywhere else I could see or feel and couldn't find a tag anywhere. When I googled the. Number stamped on the case it came up 92/93 gm on one site but im not sure if I can go just by that.

Not sure what to tell you, Taylor. That tag SHOULD be near the shift lever or underneath somewhere.

Re: supercharged 91 , pcm tuning list
I am going to go get a telescoping mirror to check for a sticker that gm replacements often have in the mean time here is a link that leads me to believe it is a 93
look at the two with the case number 8680115 and grey round plug (7pin) which is what i have
their part number for the transmissions are :
3AVW 8678629
and
3YMW 8678217

Re: supercharged 91 , pcm tuning list
Alright got a mirror and found a tag right about where they say the gm goodwrench replacements have them. Now im not sure if im looking at it upside down and backwards or just backwards as i basically have to stand on my head in the engine bay to see it. Here are the numbers..they dont seem right so i am going back out later to try to look again.
top line : 3cz ms or it may be 3cz m5
bottom line :268 228155

268 228155
Here is a link to sinisters site where they have the model numbers, can someone confirm im not wrong, I think its from a 93 which should work fine with the 92 pcm right?

EDIT: Bill could you please post a pic of the 93 trans plug pinout ...thanks
I am pretty sure i know where evreything but the red wire goes..

It is indeed a 93 trans (preferable to a 92). You got the axles also, right? This is already in the car? I assume you found the tag on the rear of the trans near the diff housing? (I recall that's the location for a 93 now).
Pin A is Gray. It's 12v from the brake switch for disengaging the TCC solenoid (unlock). It has 12V applied until you tap the brakes.
Pin B is white. TC system provides a ground.
Pin C is Yellow. This is the temp switch I referenced earlier.
Pin D is black. It's the ground for the TCC solenoid.
Pin E is red. It's for the 3 shift solenoids. 12V from a junction just BEFORE the brake switch, so hot at all times.
Pin F is Blue. Ground for shift solenoid A.
Pin G is green. Ground for shift solenoid B.
To check your solenoids, get your meter out and read resistance.
Pins E-F are solenoid A, and should be 20-30Ω at 68°F
Pins E-G are solenoid B and should be the same.
Pins A-D are TCC solenoid, and should be the same.
Pins B-E are PWM/Modulator, and should be 10-15Ω at 68°F (higher resistance when hotter on all of these).
Pins are not in a sequence, so don't be fooled:
http://www.autodiagnosticsandpublishing ... ission.pdf
That's looking INTO the connector, trans is obviously a mirror image of it. Ignore most of the rest of the info on that page. These 4T60's have various wire color combinations based on the vehicle they were built for.

Re: supercharged 91 , pcm tuning list
Alright the fpr is 2.7 and from my earlier conversation i need a 3.0 regulator and some different injectors. So what is known is that its a 93 transmission( gm goodwrench replacement with less than 50xxx miles) and axles, 92 engine and pcm, and a 94/95 supercharger
. The injectors i have now im not sure where they came from so i am looking for some other injectors. also need a fuel pump as the one i have is not the right one.
so as far as the tune do i stick with the earlier planned stuff or does anything change since its a 93 trans instead of a 92?

Re: supercharged 91 , pcm tuning list
Nothing changes in the PCM based on 92 or 93 transmissions. Don't forget to suppress code 58 when you have it burned.
I still owe you injector and Walbro info. I got very busy yesterday. I assume we have breathing room on those two items.

Yeah we have some breathing room, I have a lot of wiring to do and still have to send out the chip..

Off topic, it was good to talk to you again yesterday, Brother. I may not lend a hand, but I'll help you any way I can. I know how bad you need those wheels!

Ok wiring is not my friend, does anyone have the wiring schematics for the 92 ssei? I have the pcm pinouts and the dash pinouts, but need the wiring diagrams so i can figure out what goes where. thanks

Driverjohn has 'em. My 93 is different enough (especially at the PCM) that it won't work for you.

Re: supercharged 91 , pcm tuning list
I went ahead and ordered a set of 92 shop manuals off of ebay should be here in a week or so...gonna need em to figure out this wiring. In the mean time I have an issue with the trans wiring harness, the colors I have on it seem to be different than what I've read...they are as follows.
tan/blk ....already connected
purple......already connected
These I found the info for thru a refence center online but am still confused
light green....shift a solenoid control...to d16 in grn pcm connector
brown.....hot in run ip fuse block #16?
blue......tccpwm solenoid control....to d5 in grn pcm connector
yellow/blackshift b solenoid control....to d15 in green pcm connector
Red.....???
Can someone confirm these for me the ones that go to the pcm connectors I think are right but with the wire colors being different then I've been told I just want to be sure. Thanks
