This is my 1997 Bonneville SE that I just bought off craigslist for $860, :btruestory: . What a steal and she runs like a champ. All she needs is a new windshield and front control arm bushings. Image Image Image

how does one know the control arm bushings are bad?

I have seen those wheels on both Monte's and Impy's. Not a bad find, especially for so cheap. Hope she gives you some more life.

Yes those are chevy rims that I'll be looking to replace and as far as mileage it's 165k, this is my 2nd bonny. My 1st bonny, a 92 se got stolen back in 2007.

About the control arm bushings I'm not sure but thats what the previous owner told me before i bought it.

I would just give the whole front suspension a good inspection. It could be anything.

The inside is decent, leather interior that needs a little cleaning but nothing major.

Here are new of my $800 dollar baby,I've painted the side mirror to match as well as replaced the impala/monte carlo rims and added a new (to me) driver side corner light...Image Image Image Image

I believe those are Impala rims.
Not that is matters, but GM offered those rims on both the Monte and the Impala. ;)
