what is this ?

Looks like a missing freeze plug ???

it takes a bit to load a 3 mb pic

its a round hole below the coolant temp sesor under the thermostat ?

never noticed it before ?

That's just an open hole into the area of the flywheel. It allows any fumes or heat to vent out.

Don't ever do it while it is running. Not sure if you could lose a finger and I don't want to know.
