If I had known that's what the Easter Bunny looked like I'd have 12-gauged his fuzzy a$$ decades ago.

Well, got the check today for the windsheild. I am going to wait until the motor is done to replace it.

I can see it now:

Hood open with padding against windsheild
motor goes in
hood closes

Oh crap, new windsheild broken.

The other trailing edge to this thread is the Burb.

Tuesday will be the 3rd week of it being at the shop. I keep getting told they are short handed (which I don't doubt), but I know the biggest issue is that this is a non-income job (warranty work) and it is the last on the list to hit the garage bay.

Tuesday I will be raising my temper a little whan I call them.

This is what is holding me up from getting parts to the engine shop.

I'd have called and bitched a week and a half ago Matt. You are obviously much more patient that I am, lol.

He doesn't want to piss them off. He wants good work this time, as the repair won't extend the warranty, and after he trades the Burb for Lisa's Buick, he doesn't want the wrath of Lisa coming down on him for a fooked transmission.

Oh, I do plan on putting pressure on him to extend the warranty out 6 months. If he was willing to do 2 years unlimited miles on this one, he can atleast give me a little back. That would carry me out another year from now.
