CHICKEN RUN!

Post by willwren »

In order to have a little fun with the Rubber Chicken recovery, I set up a folder to upload to via an app on my phone:
http://s1109.photobucket.com/albums/h43 ... ken%20Run/

Matt may update to that too if he has an appropriate app for PB.

I'm leaving earlier from home tomorrow than planned, just in case of Portland/Metro traffic, and the plan is still to leave Matt and Wendy's at 7am sharp, after Matt gets off work. This will be the topic to keep track of us in, and if you folks would be so kind as to post pics in it from that photobucket account from time to time, we would appreciate it!

We don't leave until 7am from his house tomorrow morning. I leave at 5:30 AM from here in the ZiLLA for a speed-record run to his house (and then very timidly hand the keys to the ZiLLA to Wendy?).

I doubt she'll need ZiLLA though, since she's got Chicken Little.

Truck has been gone over and everything looks good. All fluids are good including a couple tall cans of Amp, just have to gas it up later tonight when I am on break at work.

I will be leaving work around 6 am and ready to roll as soon as Bill gets here. We will be on the road 2 hours before Wendy even gets home. The kids will leave for school a half hour after us.

She just made me wash Chicken Little while she detailed the inside. I am actually impressed, she has been wanting to quit smoking and so far she has not lit one up in it yet. I have actually had to stop a couple times for her to burn one. The 2k she said she wouldn't smoke in, but as soon as we left the dealer I looked in my rear view and saw her lighting up.

Zilla is ready. Pulled her out of the garage for the first leg of the trip. It wouldn't be right if I didn't. (pics on photobucket).

Wife and I leave about the same time tomorrow in the Chick car (aka Sunny the Sunfire).

Although we won't be home until Sunday evening, we'll be following along closely from the hotel wireless connection to this thread.

God speed.

There was a slight chance of rain last night. They go back on when I get to Matt's. It's Chicken Day!

Edit.....heading out in about 20 minutes at 5:15, have to make a couple stops on the way out, on the way to Matt's no later than 5:30.

Praying for absolute safety for vehicle as well as passengers! God speed Chicken retriever!!
2000 SSEi (Silver Eagle) cleared corners (before accident) new LIM gasket, drilled 180 T-stat, new plugs and wires, new valve cover gaskets, new Supercharger gasket, third brake light overlay. Hopefully soon to start more mods for performance. Also, 2005 White SE totally stock and will remain that way!
