Re: Just a little somethin' somethin'...
Compared to my previous 16s, I really don't notice the difference between the sizes, yes, I can feel a bit more crashing when going over big-ass potholes but I think that's to be expected.
On the highways, it's honestly smooth as silk and I feel no adverse effects (I drive 550-600 miles, used to be 800 miles, a week so I should know)

*dang* ZIPPERS! My poor paint is only about a month old and it just got its first scratch.... It's only a hairline and it didn't penetrate the clear or anything, so I'd imagine it could be buffed out pretty easily, but just seeing that scratch... just pisses me off... Gotta watch how I open the door for now on, lol

Oh I would love that. It's a 2000 so it's a 5 speed. If I had an '02 it would be a 6 speed...and I'd have another 23 horsepower to boot.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Basically, it legislates the circumstances of how manufacturer warranties can be voided...i.e. a non-Ford oil filter doesn't cancel the factory warranty, but an aftermarket transmission can.petraman wrote:Didn't they pass a law saying that mods won't void your warranty? Anyways I probably won't do anything with it since it would be a pain in the butt demodding everything when I turn it in... but at this point there's a very good chance of me paying it off and keeping it at the end of the lease....
Not to be confused with the Mann Act, which is something ENTIRELY different.
Mister Chambers! Don't get on that ship!

Basically the Magnuson-Moss Act says that if you add an Intake, they can't deny you warranty on the Seats. However, if you add nitrous and the transmission blows, they could claim abuse if they see fit.
Bye Bye:
