Yes, I remember this commercial vividly. It was intended to show ALL of Pontiac's 2004 model lineup, but the star was the GTO. The only car "modified" to perform the stunts was the GTO because of the jump at the end. BTW, that was one of the laundry list of 2004 GTO's destroyed during the year. A bunch were destroyed in a train wreck too. Anyway, GM only gave them one GTO to do the commercial with, so it was a one time shot to do that jump.
