Question about K and N filter

Is it true that the filter has to be oiled, or is that just to clean it. thank you

Yes it gets oiled with their special oil which is sticky to catch the dirt and dust. They also have a special cleaner for it, then you re-oil it afterwards.

When you eventually need to clean your pre-oiled filter (it says so on the box), make sure you follow the instructions to the letter. To prevent over-oiling (a really bad thing for an expensive MAF sensor), use my method.

Lightly blot the filter about 5 minutes after oiling with a lint-free cloth, on both sides.

Okay so it did come pre-oiled, thank you. I plan on cleaning at 25,000 mile. Which one of the oils do you recommend

The small one (first one listed) should be available at your local parts store (any or all of the stores in your area). That will last you several cleanings if you don't go spray happy.
