alpine display interface

This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

alpine display interface

Post by its840 »

ok some of the newer headunits have a display interface. pretty much all the kits are for euro cars. vahaul and some others.. it displays the radio info on the vehicle display... sort of like our huds display with stock radio.

ive been searching the interweb for about the past hour. has anyone been able to get an aftermarket radio to work with the hud??

alpine part numbers that i found that are needed... that kce-970b connector looks like it would plug right in.. but i have no clue how our hud receives that info from the radio???

The HUD receives its signal from the radio via the Class2 signal.

I won't say its entirely not possible, but I highly doubt you are going to find anything to do it.
