I went to go take my emissions test and failed. The guy there told me to fix my check engine light codes and that my car would pass if i did. so the paper work he gave me lists 2 check engine light codes, 1. P0446:Evaporative emission system vent control circuit. 2. p1441: manufacturer specific code.
I have no idea how to go about fixing this or what they mean. Does any one know what exactly those codes mean and what i have to do to fix them? My cousin suggested getting new o2 sensors and that that should fix the problem but i dont wanna go out buy parts learn to put them in then realize i still have the same problem, any help is greatly appreciated! especially since i dont know much about any type of car repairs... thanks in advance
